TERMS
Terms for the Dogs Social website and web app
These terms cover both dogs.social and the Dogs Social web app. Dogs Social is a free service for finding dog parks and sharing voluntary, self-reported presence.
The service
Dogs Social provides a website and web app that show Antwerp dog parks, park facts and user check-ins. The service is free. Features may change, be unavailable or stop as the service develops.
Acceptable use
Use Dogs Social respectfully. Do not harass another person, create a false check-in, impersonate someone, or upload content that is not about your own dog. Do not use the service to threaten people, interfere with the app or break applicable law.
Your content
You keep ownership of photos, bios and other content you upload. You give Dogs Social a non-exclusive licence to store and display that content in the app so the relevant dog profile and check-in can work. Dogs Social may remove content that breaches these terms or creates a safety concern.
Reporting and removal
Product feedback goes to feedback@dogs.social or through the idea field on the What's next page. There is currently no in-app reporting mechanism. If you have a concern about content or conduct, use the operator's designated contact address. The operator may remove content or limit an account when it breaches these terms, even though the reporting workflow is currently handled outside the app.
See privacy contact detailsSafety and accuracy
Dogs Social does not verify information about dogs or their owners. Presence data may be out of date, and dog compatibility information is self-reported. You are responsible for your own safety and your dog's safety at a park, including deciding whether a meeting is appropriate.
Accounts
Some optional actions require an account. Keep account details secure and do not use another person's account. The operator may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, while preserving any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Availability and liability
The service is provided without a promise that every map, check-in or feature will always be available or accurate. To the extent permitted by law, Dogs Social gives no warranty about uninterrupted operation and is not responsible for decisions made from self-reported park information. Mandatory consumer protections remain in force.
Governing law
Belgian law governs these terms. Consumers keep the protections and rights granted by applicable Belgian and European Union law, including any mandatory rules that cannot be waived by an online agreement.
